I was a player for this game recently and stumbled across this page so I wanted to give it a shout out- this was a lot of fun! I got to play as a Rabbit named Jack that was the pet of a teacher at the school but he was just a retired street magician that didn't actually know any magic lol
Mechanics were very simple and fun, me and the other players jumped straight into it after only a few minutes of prep guided by the GM!
Played this last friday, and it was an absolute blast. I couldn't prep anything, but the character and school creation, the prompts for the GM and the questions gave me so much to built on top, it was an easy to run session.
I also had the best charakter names ever in my group: Quäks-a-lot, an easily distracted duck, that enjoyed sounds very much. Sir Hazel-a-Nut a squirrel that was looking for it's misplaced zylinder.
My players wanted to play part 2 of our imaginary TV-Series right away. I'm very sure magical pets will be on my table again, quite soon.
This sounds like so much fun and I would love to introduce it to my family, but finances are kind of tight at present... Any chance of throwing up more Community Copies in the near future?

I’m hoping for community copies! This looks like a game that I might be able to use to help get my students to love reading and writing. :)

Thank you! I also requested your other game that I'm interested in. :)

It's great! Every time I played it was cute and wholesome. Perfect for an easy and fast replacement for a cancelled game session.
How can I do this game justice? It is cute, utterly delightful, and enchanting. Most importantly, it's plain fun!
Such a lovely game. Cozy Adventures with pets set in a magical school, I love it.
